Dennis Ray Cavitt

	Dennis Ray Cavitt, 45, of DuQuoin, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at 5:30 p.m. at Marshall Browning Hospital Emergency Room.
	Mr. Cavitt was aTirebuilder at Continental General Tire.
	He was born July 10, 1954 at DuQuoin, the son of Paul and Mary Alice (King) Cavitt, Jr.
	Surviving are his parents, Paul and Mary Cavitt of Dowell; one son, Alexander Cavitt of DuQuoin; two daughters, Prudence Cavitt-Kumming and husband Rob of St. Louis and Lindsay Cavitt of Nashville; step-children, Joette Pharo and husband David of Murphysboro and Jeremy Stanley and wife April of DuQuoin; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Mary Cavitt of Dowell, Bryan and Lisa Cavitt of DuQuoin and Robert and Sandy Cavitt of Dowell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Paula nd Mark Hacker of DuQuoin and Sue and Jeff Fairbanks of Christopher; maternal grandparents, Jess and Beulah King of Dowell and paternal grandmother, Goldie Hottes of DuQuoin.
	He was preceded in death by a son.
	Funeral services were Saturday, February 5 at 11 a.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Dickerson officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park in DuQuoin.
	Friends were able to call at Neal-McClure Funeral home Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service.
